SEASIDE HEIGHTS IN 1960
This promotional film from 1960 was discovered by Peter J. Smith, Director of the Seaside Heights Office of Public Relations in May 2008. Peter remembered seeing this film as a child and spent five years looking for this video inside the Borough Hall. One day, he had to reach high on a shelf to retrieve a box of 8 radios. However, the box contained only 7 radios. This made him grab a stepladder and look for the missing radio. The radio was found on top of a reel of film, which turned out to be the long-lost Sun and Fun video. Those who grew up in New Jersey during the 1950's and 1960's will enjoy watching this video clip. |
